Activation guide
From sign-up to the first daily review.
Six steps. You do the first three on your own in under an hour. Manu is activated together with the Manutex team, because the team links each group to the right location.
- 1
Create the account
Enter your name, company, email and a password. The account is active immediately and you land in the Get started assistant.
- The company administrator creates the account and invites the team later.
- 2
Go through the Get started assistant
Three stages; any of them can be skipped and resumed later in Settings.
- Your company: name, tax ID and segment. The segment creates the usual areas and three sample tickets you can delete whenever you want.
- Drop what you already have: spreadsheets, PDFs, photos, contracts, supplier lists and exported WhatsApp chats. Each file takes 20 seconds to 2 minutes to read.
- What we found: a summary of what Manutex assembled. Anything not yet checked carries a badge.
- 3
Export the group chats
The group's history teaches Manu your equipment, nicknames, suppliers and recurring problems. Export each maintenance group once.
- Android: open the group, tap the three dots, More, Export chat, Without media.
- iPhone: open the group, tap the group name, Export chat, Without media.
- Upload the whole .zip under Tickets, Import (up to 200 MB) or just the .txt (up to 15 MB). Only the text goes in; photos and videos stay on your phone.
- Nothing becomes a ticket by itself: Manutex proposes, with the original excerpt alongside, and records only after your approval.
- 4
Tell us how your place works
Manu knows maintenance. What she cannot guess is your operation. The more of this is registered before activation, the less you correct later.
- Locations and areas, so each request lands in the right place.
- Main equipment with the nickname the team uses in the group, such as “backup Zebra” or “cold room 2”.
- Suppliers and technicians, so Manu recognizes who was called.
- Team and roles: who reports, who executes and who decides.
- The maintenance contract, under Settings, Manu. It is usually the first document worth uploading.
- 5
Activate Manu with us
Activation is assisted and included in Manu's activation fee.
- Choose up to 3 groups and the default location for each. One group can serve more than one location.
- Define who reviews each group's list and the daily cut-off time.
- Post the notice below in the group and pin it.
- Only after the notice, a group administrator adds the Manutex number, which we share at activation.
- The Manutex team links the group to the location and confirms when reading has started. For the first 14 days we follow Manu's accuracy together.
- 6
Do the daily review
At the cut-off time, Manu organizes what came up in the groups. The reviewer opens Group Tickets and decides each topic: open a ticket, merge it into an existing topic or mark it as not a ticket. When you correct Manu, mark the reason; that is how she learns your operation.
- It takes about 5 minutes a day once the review becomes routine.
